This volume aims to probe the persistent issue of coloniality in the 21st century and examine contemporary decolonization efforts that various entities undertake to address the multifaceted challenges in today’s societies.

    • Critically assess how colonial power continues to permeate through facets of global capitalism and governance technologies.
    • Examine the reinforcement of this power by institutional, legal, and educational structures.

Examining the Impact of Colonial Operations in Contemporary World:

    • Investigate the repercussions of colonial dominance in current socities.
    • Discuss issues such as the perpetuation of conflicts; the creation of stateless individuals and marginalized groups; the exploitation of migrant workers; the vulnerabilities of digital laborers; the plight of human trafficking victims; and environmental catastrophes.

Practices of Social Engagement and Artistic Intervention

    • Demonstrate the role of social activism and artistic endeavors in challenging and dismantling colonial structures.

Some notes to prospective contributors.

Prospective contributors are invited to submit an indication of intent by 15 January 2024, which should include the following components: Chapter Title, Synopsis (500 words), Keywords (6-7), and Author’s Bio (200 words). The revised chapters should be submitted by 15 May 2024.

Each chapter will be 7,000-8,000 words long. Please notify us of any potential copyright infringements. In principle, our volume could accept essays previously published elsewhere, provided the author can obtain permission from the previous publisher. Nevertheless, the proportion of previously published articles should not exceed a certain proportion of the entire volume.
